We have extra kids here this week at camp while my brother and sister-in-law deal with
real estate issues (both buying and selling). Anyhow, during the week Nana disappears
back to Schenectady and so this big place ends up looking a bit long in the tooth.
This AM I got all of the kids up early and they stormed through the place - I kind
of like supervising an army of small hands. They made short work of the mighty North
Camp and now, except for my office... things are pretty darn tidy.
On another note I've been pondering Battle Castles II and a sequel to Real E$tate Empire II.
REE I continues to sell briskly and I'm getting feedback from stronger players that they
would like a deeper game. I'm contemplating putting BC II on the back burner and charging
ahead with REE II. Font Fiend is nearing release and I think will be done, at least an
initial release, before we head back across the country so I'm going to take that 5
days and ponder what I should be doing next.
Johnny Appleseed, by Joe Strummer is on the virtual turn table today. I've been
digging John from Cincinnati and Joe Strummer's folksy, pop title track. Sometimes the
Deadwoodian language gets a tad overdone but mostly the show is spot on. Not sure how
the meetings go at HBO when they try to green light something that sprawls the way this
thing does... but I'm glad HBO rolled the dice and came up with another winner.
